The Char Dham Yatra is one of Hinduism's most revered pilgrimages — a journey to the four sacred Himalayan abodes of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, set amid breathtaking peaks and rivers.

Day-by-day yatra plan

Day 1

Arrive in Haridwar

Transfer to Haridwar; evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.

Day 2

Haridwar to Barkot

Drive to Barkot, base for Yamunotri.

Day 3

Yamunotri darshan

Trek/pony to Yamunotri temple and return.

Day 4

Barkot to Uttarkashi

Drive to Uttarkashi, base for Gangotri.

Day 5

Gangotri darshan

Visit Gangotri temple; return to Uttarkashi.

Day 6

Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

Long scenic drive to Guptkashi, base for Kedarnath.

Day 7

Kedarnath darshan

Helicopter or trek to Kedarnath; darshan and return.

Day 8

Guptkashi to Badrinath

Drive to the sacred town of Badrinath.

Day 9

Badrinath darshan

Morning darshan, Mana village visit.

Day 10

Badrinath to Rudraprayag

Return drive with stops at the holy sangams.

Day 11

Departure

Drive to Haridwar / Dehradun for your onward journey.

How physically demanding is the Char Dham? +
Each dham involves some walking; Yamunotri and Kedarnath require treks (with pony/palki options). We pace it for moderate fitness; seniors are very welcome.
Can we add a Kedarnath helicopter? +
Yes — we can arrange Kedarnath helicopter darshan as a paid add-on, subject to availability and weather.
Best time for Char Dham? +
Roughly May to early November when the temples are open. Avoid the monsoon peak (mid-July to August) for landslide safety.
Is the food vegetarian? +
Yes — pure vegetarian, sattvic meals throughout, in line with the spirit of the yatra.
