Days 1-3: Ubud, in a jungle villa. Skip Kuta. The artistic heart of Bali is Ubud, and a villa carved into the jungle sets the tone.
Day 4: The drive south. Bali has dramatic clifftop temples on the way to the beach side — Tanah Lot for sunset.
Day 5: Nusa Penida day trip. A fast boat takes you to Nusa Penida — Kelingking Beach, Broken Beach and crystal-clear snorkelling.
Day 6: Uluwatu sunset. End at Uluwatu temple as the sun drops, with the famous Kecak fire dance.
